Hedda was found at seven months old on a country road in Culpeper. She was severely emaciated and her foster parents pulled her from the country shelter just in the nick of time. It was her day to be euthanized. Hedda has since gained weight, but she is small of stature and will probably always have that cute puppy dog face. Hedda is a friendly young dog who loves to play with other dogs and her foster parents . This sweet girl also likes to snuggle up to her humans. Hedda just wants to be loved. She is very smart and willing to please and knows her basic commands like sit, stay and wait which did not take her long at all to learn. Hedda's favorite toy right now is a Kong stuffed with treats. She loves to run around with it in her mouth and bounces it around all happy wiggles and smiles. Hedda gets along well with cats and dogs and is great with children. Hedda loves nothing more than someone throwing a ball for her, she will retrieve it and bring it back to you. Hedda would love to have a canine friend in her forever family, another dog to play and run around with. Hedda is crate trained and housebroken but prefers to be right beside you, your constant companion through life's adventures.
This adorable little dog has had a rough start in life and would love to be part of her own family. Please request a visit with Hedda soon.
