Lavender was surrendered with her mom and 3 other siblings to our rescue. The little family was living in the backyard in their previous home with little human interaction. All 5 of them have come a along ways since joining our rescue and are adjusting nicely in their foster homes. Here are some facts you need to know about Lavender to make sure she is the right fit for your family:

> Livvy is great with other dogs, big or small
> Livvy is good with cats

> Livvy is good with children of all ages as long as they give her space and respect
> Livvy is doing well with potty training
> Livvy is crate trained
> Livvy has learned to walk on a leash
> Livvy enjoys going for walks or just romp around in the backyard with her canine foster brothers Hooch and Levi
> Dog Parks are an absolute NO for her

> Running off leash in an unfenced yard is an absolute NO for her

Lavender is adjusting well in her foster home but the outside world is still a scary place for her. The adopter needs to be aware that it will take time and work to get Lavender adjusted slowly in her new world.

Lavender opens up and becomes playful when around other dogs so we require that her adoptive home has other playful and well adjusted dogs who can be a role model for Livvy to learn from.

We do not require a fenced yard as long as the adopter can provide sufficient exercise. However, if fenced the fence needs to be a minimum of 5' high as she will be able to jump a lower fence if spooked.

Lavender is an absolute sweetheart and will make a wonderful companion if taken the time to make her understand that this world is not such a scary place afterall. We promise, you will love her!

Here is what her foster mom has to say about her:

Livvy is very sweet. She loves to cuddle with her foster brothers. She hangs out in her foster mom’s office most of the day, snoring in the chair. Livvy has been going to Doggie Daycare twice a week and has a blast playing with the other dogs. She is warming up to the folks that work there. She walks really well on a leash and knows to go outside to potty.
