Bobbie's Pit Bull Rescue & Sanctuary

 

I was abandoned and found laying on a couch next to a very busy street and some nice people came and rescued me.  Nobody knows how long I had been there, waiting faithfully for those who left me behind.  I did have puppies too and one was found dead in the road and nobody knows what happened to the rest of my puppies.   Needless to say I was really scared and very cold, but that is all in the past now.

 

I have been catching up on the good life though! I live in a foster home with one other dog and a few cats and we all get along very well. Wow! Who knew life could be so much fun?

 

I really like comfy beds and going for walks.

 

I LOVE food. I work extra hard for treats and give my foster mom all my attention. The cutest thing I do is wiggle and spin in little circles before breakfast and dinner. I cannot help it, I get so excited about food. But I do know how to sit patiently and wait for the "ok" sign before eating. But that is hard sometimes, and I squeak like a little pig. 

 

Foster mom says I should be in the Gifted and Talented group at school cause I'm such a quick learner.  I'm learning all my basic commands like sit and wait, come and stay. 

 

My foster brother, Tanner, is super athletic, so I like playing with him, too. I prefer calmer, submissive dogs.  I like hanging out on the couch with him, just relaxing and love it when my foster parents are there to snuggle up to.

 

I hope you come and visit with me soon.  I look a little skinny on the pictures but I have already gained so much weight, I was a 'bag of bones' when they found me.
