Update from Panda's foster mom and dad 08/13/21:

"Panda has been with us for 2 weeks and it's so hard not to fall in love with her more and more every day! Though she has a ton of energy, even at 5 y/o, she's such an easy dog, especially having Roscoe as a companion. She has no sense of personal space and we're very okay with it If you're looking for a fur-baby who loves to cuddle, loves to play, and loves to make you laugh, Panda's your girl!"

Panda is great with adults and children of all ages, including babies and toddlers. She is also fantastic with other dogs. Panda loves to go on walks and on car rides.

Panda needs to be in a cat free home but other than that she is very close to PERFECT!

Panda is being returned to our rescue at no fault of her own. More information to follow

Happy, affectionate, well behaved and with loads of personality ... Panda has it all! She is fully housetrained and is crate trained, too. She's got a medium energy level ... she's spunky at times and likes to play with her doggy friends, but settles down easily and loves snuggle time on the sofa. If you like to jog or hike, she'd be happy to join you but she certainly does not need that kind of exercise to be happy. She also walks beautifully on leash (at least until she sees a SQUIRREL!) and is terrific on car rides.
Panda is an absolutely lovely young dog who was relinquished to very high-euthanizing shelter in far southern Virginia with a litter of puppies. Another rescue took the puppies but did not take mom, so we stepped in to help. Panda is about 2 years old and we think she is mostly Bull Terrier (like Spuds Mackenzie and the Target dog). She rarely barks, but when she does it sounds a bit like a yodel ... wooo wooo woo.
So far she has little formal training, but she is naturally attentive and well behaved. Panda loves to play with toys and chew on bones, but she doesn't touch things that don't belong to her. She does know "sit" and has basic house manners.
Panda is clearly looking for someone to love. She's a very trusting and dedicated dog who will quietly follow you around the house like a shadow.
Panda really loves children and is polite with her food and toysm but we think she'd do best in a home with kids 6-plus since she can get a little over excited when playing. Panda's one fault is that she cannot resist chasing cats, so ahome without them would be best. She'd be fine with or without another dog in the home ... she likes dogs a lot but is more focused on people.
This dog is an absolute winner!
