Learn more about the Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
Lily was found as a stray and then turned into Spotsylvania Animal Shelter before coming to Bobbie's. She is good with dogs, doesn't pay any attention to the cat and loves people. Lily is housebroken, crate trained and loves riding in the car, she also enjoys lounging on the couch next to her foster parents of course. Lily does have a grade 2 heart murmur. The prognosis from the vet is that she will live a happy normal life. She just can't be exposed to the heat for long periods of time and she should also not be exercised rigorously for an extended period. Short, leisurely walks during the cooler parts of the day are best for her. Lily is shy at first when meeting new people but warms up quickly and once she has decided that you are her friend she will shower you with kisses. She would enjoy having a canine play mate in her forever home, because Lily loves to play with other dogs, she does tend to play a little rough though and we think she would do better with a more submissive dog. Lily's past is questionable, this young dog has not been exposed to a lot of things in life and sometimes gets frightened by new experiences. She has made great strides in her foster home and with love, patience and positive reinforcement Lily will blossom into an absolutely wonderful companion for any family. Please come and meet this affectionate, sweet girl.
