LOOK AT THIS FACE!
Ruby came to us from a local shelter where she was picked up as a stray. She is in poor condition and emaciated and shy but a complete love bug with her foster mom . Since she was pulled she battled and upper respiratory infection and developed pyometra ( an life threatening infection in her uterus). Ruby spent a couple of days hospitalized and given a life saving operation. She is recuperating in her foster home and has really started to gain confidence and zest for life again. Ruby is great with children as well as cats but can be a little possessive over her favorite toys with other dogs. She has learned her basic commands, is crate trained and is working on house training in her foster home .
