Chip is still with us, and we can't understand why! He is handsome, gentle, and well-behaved. Although he may be particular about his doggy friends and need some support in getting to know new dogs, Chip is a wonderful companion to people. He has amazing obedience skills and learns new ones quickly. He has become a volunteer favorite for enrichment and training days, and they can never say enough great things about this boy. He's also been brought out for extra walks and exposure time with volunteers, and he is reported to be a perfect gentleman every time.
He is the happiest boy, and is most content when he can play a great game of fetch. Indoor or outdoor, he doesn’t care. He loves toys, but also wants to snuggle up on your legs on the couch and relax. He’s very food motivated and will always try to be your assistant chef in the kitchen. He listens very well to his name, come, sit, lay down, and he can give paw. He’s very smart, and overall very chill around other dogs, not paying them too much attention. When he does, it needs to be managed and monitored for appropriate play. He loves car rides, and would happily be your new adventure buddy, as he’s getting used to new environments and slowly but surely coming out of his shell.
