UPDATE 05/03/2024:
Chief has come a long ways since we got him as a tiny puppy and has become a well rounded teenager with a lot of energy. His foster mom is a professional trainer so he is pretty much the most well trained pup in our rescue right now. Here are a few things about this beautiful boy:

- is fully house and crate trained
- loves other dogs (would love to see him in a home with another dog)
- is good with cats although he is playful
- listens very well to commands, i.e. sit, stay, down, wait, come, place
- is super sweet and cuddly with his humans
- absolutely loves children
- has fantastic leash manners
- is fantastic in the car
- is a quick learner and very smart
- loves to go on walks and greets everybody and everything with a wagging tail and smile on his face
- Chief is very calm and chill in public and would be a great companion to go to brewery or winery outings

Chief will come with two free training sessions so the adopter understands everything Chief knows.
We are not kidding. Chief is absolutely amazing. Come meet him at one of our events and see for yourself!

Chief was just 5-weeks old when he was found alone in a fast food restaurant parking lot. He was brought to the shelter, but nobody came to claim him.

This spunky pup has been doing very well in his foster home. Chief gets very excited when he see his foster family and any new people that come to the house. His ears go back and his tail goes a mile a minute. Chief does great in the crate. He cries at first and then settles down. Like all puppies, Chief loves to eat and sleep but can also be mouthy during play.

Chief is doing well learning his doggy manners while playing with his doggy companions and can live with cats. He is house and crate trained and doing well on car rides.
